5 Stars Movers is just amazingly trustworthy. This is the third time I availed of their services and I would even continue to recommend them to my friends. The previous move we made was a local one, but this time , we moved from New York to California and we were so impressed how professional and well-organized the Movers team were. They arrived on time and immediately packed my things, loaded my things to their truck, and repacked everything upon arrival to California. Everything was in perfect condition and handled with care. At first, we were wary of the idea of this move because of COVID19 but 5 Stars Movers helped us feel confident when they brought a moving crew into our house and our new residence. The Movers observed all the necessary protocols. They were wearing gloves, masks and kept a safe distance between then other crews and from us. I would definitely recommend them to others!

Moving in New York City is a stressful experience, but 5 Stars Movers made it so easy. They communicated with me before and after the transfer and were responsive throughout the process. All we had to do on moving day was have our boxes packed, and the moving company took care of the rest. I was amazed by their speed and professionalism, as well as the care they took to ensure our belongings were not destroyed. The fact that they disassembled and reassembled our furniture was perhaps my favorite part of the service. The staff did such an amazing job that all of my worries vanished as they got to work. I was very pleased with my decision. Your crew worked quickly, communicated effectively with me and each other, were courteous, cleaned up well after themselves, and took great care and attention to protect my family's belongings. To be honest, I haven't opened all of the boxes yet, so I don't know if anything was damaged, but I can't imagine anyone doing a better job considering the care they took on the day. We have moved many times in the past 15 years, and working with 5 Stars Movers was the best experience we've had. My initial call to set up the move was great - all questions answered and the process was simple. The guys who did the move were super professional, courteous, personable and very efficient. We had zero damage to any of our belongings, the not a scratch on a wall in the place we moved from or to. I really appreciated the follow up call the day after to check in. I booked 5 Stars Movers since their prices were the best in the area after receiving several quotes. They are very organized and communicate frequently and thoroughly. The movers arrived on time and let me know half an hour before they would arrive so we could be ready. They were very professional and efficient, all our furniture from our 1-bed apartment was taken apart and put back together within a surprisingly short amount of time. Worth every penny 👍.

I had shopped around for quotes from several companies, and 5 Stars Movers gave me the best value and was able to meet my building's insurance requirements. 5 Star Movers made an already stressful process even worse. The first red flag should have been that I communicated with Flat Rate Fee Movers but received a confirmation from 5 Star Movers but the man on the phone seemed honest and helpful so I didn’t cancel. I asked him if the movers’ commute home was included in the price and he confirmed no.The movers were supposed to come between 8-9am. At 10am, I had received no update so I called them. Apparently, one of the movers was sick and they couldn’t send a crew out until 1-2pm. At 2pm, I had not received an update and called again to be told the movers would come from 2-4pm. I had taken the day off of work only for the movers to show up at 5:30pm. Since we were now going to encounter rush hour traffic, their manager agreed to wave the cost of time spent commuting.When we finally arrived at my apartment, the movers tried to overcharge me $200 by saying there was a “truck fee.” I showed them the receipt that showed that the truck fee was included. They also claimed that I received a discount because the time spent commuting was waived BUT they charged for the time spent commuting home which I specifically asked about prior to booking. At that point, I had spent 9 hours waiting for them, missed a day of work, and needed to unpack in the dark and didn’t have any energy to fight them.

I am beyond grateful for the professionalism of the gentlemen that helped me move. I just purchased my first home and I couldn't be happier. 2 weeks before moving, we completed a walk through and I got a quote for my move. On the big day, this team of men showed up and worked faster than lightning and by some miracle (and their overwhelming expertise), everything was moved without any breakage!

I contracted 5 Stars Movers to move about 200 cubic feet of office stuff from storage to my apartment. Joseph and crew from truck #2 did the move. They were on time, worked fast, took good care to wrap and protect my stuff, finished sooner than I thought they would, and were personable and totally professional 💪. Also the managers of the company provided a fair quote that did not end up inflated later, did the COI paperwork the same day I requested it, communicated all the details of the move clearly, and provided an itemized invoice after. Everything you could want. I highly recommend them based on my experience 😊.

The crew at 5 Stars Movers was great. They went out of their way to make sure that the move went well. But there is more. They were considerate, kind, and trustworthy. The provided estimate was on point, and they did everything they were supposed to do. The guys came within the window I was given and started busting out the move right away. The whole loading process took about two hours! Delivery was even easier for me, I was working while they moved, and it went by quicker than I thought.
